Purchase your tickets NOW! Click on the button above! Tickets can also be purchased at "At The Office" Sports Bar And Grill and Park Lawn Charity (10833 Laporte Avenue location only!) If your ticket is drawn AND the Queen of Hearts is revealed.... JACKPOT (60% if present, 50% if not)! Remember to keep playing each week as the jackpot gets BIGGER and the Queen of Hearts still hasn't been found! Weekly online ticket sales will begin at 10:00 AM the day after the weekly drawing and close at 2:00 PM on the day of the drawing. In each online transaction, the purchaser will only be allowed to select a single number to represent the card in which they want to be revealed on the Queen of Hearts game board. That number, along with the buyer's name and phone number, will be written by a Park Lawn representative on all the tickets purchased in that transaction and placed into that week's drawing. RULES
|
IRS Rules
1) Winners are always required to report gambling winnings.
2) Park Lawn is required to fill out and file a form W-2G for a winner that receives more than $1,500 for one prize. This is figured by the IRS rules that require reporting of winnings over $600 and 300 times the wager. Since we are selling the tickets 6 for $5, the Park Lawn finance department calculated $5 x 300 to get $1,500.
3) Park Lawn is required to fill out a W-2G and withhold federal income tax for winnings over $5,000. Park Lawn would give the winner a net amount. Park Lawn keeps the taxes and pay them upfront to the IRS. The winner reports the gross winnings on their income tax and also reports the withholding.
