Spring Appeal
This spring, we invite you to help us continue turning the page—creating a more accessible, welcoming, and empowering space for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities right here in our community.
For more than 70 years, Park Lawn has been a place where individuals build independence, find purpose, and experience true inclusion. Today, we serve more than 620 adults and families across the Chicago Southland, with thousands of visits each year to our Oak Lawn facility.
But parts of our building—originally constructed decades ago—no longer meet the needs of those we serve.
That’s why this spring, we are focused on making critical accessibility improvements, including ADA-compliant restrooms, safer entryways, and upgrades that ensure every individual can move through our space with dignity and confidence.

Your donation to Park Lawn will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to receive the vocational, residential and adult developmental training services essential in promoting their continued growth and independence. Every donation, regardless of size, is greatly appreciated.

Vehicle Donation Program
Park Lawn partners with Seguin Services to offer a vehicle donation program for those wishing to make a tax deductible gift in kind of a car, boat, motorcycle, or RV. All vehicles are accepted, even if not operational, and towing is provided at no cost, including donations outside the Chicagoland area. Donated vehicles are cleaned, detailed, and sold through Seguin Services Auto Center, with 80 percent of the proceeds supporting Park Lawn programs and 20 percent supporting Seguin Services. Memorials and Honorariums
Donations can be submitted in the name of a loved one or to acknowledge a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. Acknowledgement cards will be sent to the family/individual in which you are making the donation.

Matching Gifts
Your donation could double or even triple if your employer offers a matching gift program. Simply contact your human resource department to obtain a form and mail with your donation.
Gift In Kind
Donations are used for fund raising activities and in program services. Examples of gift in kind donations include household items, gift certificates, general merchandise and clothing. Event Sponsorship
Provides an opportunity for businesses and individuals to sponsor a part of or an entire fund raising activity. Sponsorship opportunities are listed in the Fundraising Events page.
