Meet the Park Lawn Players...
The Park Lawn Players, a musical performance group, was established in 2004. A group of employees with backgrounds in music, drama, and dance started the group to provide an outlet for creative expression and to showcase the talents of Park Lawn’s participants.
Practices occur throughout the year and supporters of the group can attend two yearly performances. Performances were once held in Park Lawn’s gym. However, due to an overwhelming positive response and growing fan base, the group has had to find a bigger venue for their shows.
Recently, the Players presented their summer show “Hot Fun in the Summertime” at a local theater. The Players sang and performed a medley of their favorite summer songs. It was an evening of great performances and fun. After the show ended, each of the performers was recognized and took a bow. The crowd responded with a standing ovation. The Park Lawn Players continue to inspire us with their talent and accomplishments.
