Park Lawn receives $7,000 grant from The UPS Foundation

Park Lawn Received a $7,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS (NYSE:UPS). The grant will be used toward a more functional restroom area at one of Park Lawn’s 10 residential facilities for six adult women.

Park Lawn’s Chicago Ridge Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) home will benefit from the renovation of the bathroom resulting in a safer living environment. The renovation will include all fixtures to be removed and replaced with new Koehler brand. The electrical and venting systems will be reconfigured with new switched and GFI outlets as required. Ceiling and walls will be dry walled with 1/2” drywall. The walls and ceiling will be primed and painted and the existing floor will be replaced with new ceramic tile.

“Park Lawn appreciates the $7,000 grant from the UPS Foundation,” said Park Lawn Director of Development Nancy Schmitz. “Their support helps shape the future for individuals enrolled in our programs. UPS is dedicated to our mission to provide services that promote independence, choice and access to community living for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are grateful for their continued financial and volunteer support.”
