Kevin Clark

Kevin is a business professional with over thirty years of experience in the Financial Service and Banking industry. He graduated from Saint Xavier University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Art Degree (Political Science) and earned a Paralegal Degree (Estates Trusts and Wills) from Roosevelt University in 1979. He has over 30 years of experience in a highly regulated industry that demanded discretion and confidentiality.

Community Service is a big part of his family and commitment to help those in need. Kevin is the President and Founder of Volleyball For Charity (www.volleyballforcharity.org). VFC is a not-for-profit group that was established in 1980. Members of VFC organize an annual coed volleyball tournament and party as a means to raise money for organizations which provide care, education and opportunities for physically and mentally challenged children and young adults. Be it fate or destiny Volleyball for Charity was formed as a not-for profit organization to help raise funds to support special programs that his son, Robbie who was born handicapped, needed to have. As those programs enhanced Robbie's life, the programs in place today at Park Lawn also attempt to enhance the lives of God’s special children and young adults with similar challenges. What is also similar about these programs, back then and now: They all cost money. Kevin and his family commit themselves to helping organizations in need. During their thirty years of our fund raising efforts, VFC has been able to donate over $425,000.00 to various charities. We are proud to state that all money raised has been donated. Our organization takes no fees or commissions.

He has been a friend of Park Lawn for over 20 years. He believes active involvement and participation in charitable fund raising events is a positive characteristic in the human soul. Kevin joined the board to enhance his existing relationship with Park Lawn. Being on the Board is an opportunity to use his business expertise, mentoring skills and fund raising experiences. He feels this brings an opportunity to bring his perspective to assist the organization in making logical choices to the challenges Park Lawn faces.
